Counselors in training program
We instituted this structure to provide the highest quality programs possible, to continue serving all community income levels, and to preserve camp for years to come! Scholarships are available for families and campers in all our programs, including our leadership development program offerings. Scholarship applications are included in all online and paper application packets. Returning participants are eligible for a scholarship each year.
Applicants must apply for the position using the paper applications they receive in the mail, there is no online registration for CITs. The Counselors-In-Training CIT Program is aimed at young women who demonstrate a belief in the mission of diabetes camping and a desire to work with children. Counselors-In-Training are chosen for this program after completing a CIT application, interview, and review of references.
